In the Spring of 2006, while I was studying in Germany, I had the opportunity to travel to England during break. Deciding on what to see in a whole country with just one week is practically impossible. I settled on simply London, but my girlfriend (who was there all semester) took the initative to take me to Cantebury for a day trip. I'm certainly glad we did.

     The trip had pleny of highlights, including the Tower of London, the fantastic bus tours (really, if you're ever there, give them a shot. You'll be pleasantly surprised), and the walking tours. And of course the London Eye, an enormous ferris wheel. It gives a great view of the city, as long as you can see out the grimy windows!
